biomedical science is a pure science subject, a biological branch that's health or medical related.
biotech is a an applied field. It is the study of the technology involved in improving the quality of life. For instance, technology for gnee therapy, GM crops.
At the beginning, students in both majors should be doing the almost same basic biology and chemistry foundations. later one, ideally, while the biomedic people go on to learn more in depth about the biological nature of diseases. The biotech major will then branch off to learn more about the application of technology in the biology industry.
