Hey, if u managed to get a job in this field, u'll have really good pay man .Cos not many ppl are studying in this field, so u'll be in high demand by employers.

I'm waiting to enter NUS or NTU currently. My main choices are now Material Science and Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Of course, I don't know if I'll get it yet, but if i do, what do you think would be the better one? I'm equally interested...

Hm... The problem is to secure a job later after graduation. I am also one of those ppl who are interested in this field, but not planning to pursue a degree in it just b'cos of the fear of unemployment... I've heard ppl saying that this aviation industry could well be the next wave, but no one knows when. Its sad if after all the years studying and eventually youre not being able to get a job..

How is the future of microelectronics? Now it is getting flooded with ppl of the same interest, so would like to know about the risk of being unemployed as a result of stiff competition and 'more supply than demand'.
Comparing it with chemical engineering and mecchatronics, among the three field, which would be better in the future considering purely on the factors of
-salary
-employment (demand of the degree in the market)
Thanks alot

photoshop are used mainly by artists, not programmers, although knowledge of pragramming can be useful in write automated scripts for it...
IT is an in-demand field nowadays... go and have a look up through the net, there are lots of chances for IT-takes to shine ;)
