yeah, at the crossroad and decide which path to take another phase in life. Everyone has to go through this. Mmm, vividy remember that the dilemma and with a the choices of universities colleges, attended EduFair, with tonnes of different explanation from different sources and al urging you to go to their institutes. What I would suggest you would be, discuss with your parents, discover your area of interests, and of course seek opinions from seniors. All the best to all SPM leavers...

Arizona State University, Tempe Arizona.
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) - Summer 2003 Graduate
Masters in Science (MSEE) in the major of Electrical Engineering - Spring 2005 Graduate

I'm done with school. Working in the California Bay Area enjoying the weather and life. I'll probably go back to school to do an MBA or PhD in a couple of years.

Any of you thinking doing EE and emphazising in analog, RF and digital circuit design, this college is pretty good. Ranking within the top 50 in US for engineering. You can emphasize in 8 areas in EE:

1. Microelectronic circuit and systems (analog, digital and RF)
2. Microwave circuit design
3. Control systems (Feedback, microcontrollers)
4. Signals and communication network
5. Electromagnetics
6. Art, media and engineering (motion sensors, etc...)
7. Computer programming and architecture
8. Power engineering (power electronics, transformers, turbines)

The department of industrial engineering is rated top 5 in the US. I think it's currently number 2.

The tuition is one of the cheapest in the southwest. Nothing beats it. Cost of living is relatively pretty good. If you like the hot weather and love to party a lot, this is the place. It was rated number 1 party university by Playboy magazine a few years ago. Lots of hot chicks in bikinis in the summer walking around campus.

Its school of business is also pretty good. The MBA program is one of the best around the US. Good standing and ranking, but cost a lot to get in. Good programs comes with hefty prices too.

Worried about high tuition cost? Not a problem. You can get scholarships from this college with really good SPM results. My friend got his scholarship with SPM results. You can even do you STPM and then come here. STPM = HSC = GCE A levels. You can transfer about 30 credits with your STPM grade. Minimum is a C on each paper. STPM students do more stuff in their syllabus compared to INTI graduates. I've compared the syllabus before. Therefore, you get to transfer more technical classes credits.

Still need to save more money? Go back to Malaysia and do some humanities courses with INTI in the summer and transfer the credits. Obviously, nothing is guaranteed.

This is not a promotional article. Just to let you know what's going on in my college. Viewer's discretion advised. Not recommended for adults below the age of 17.
