Anything can be better than SAM.

Kidding la...but IMHO, it is still better off than SAMs.

I'm currently enrolled in this programme though I'll be graduating next week (having my finals right now). It shouldn't be any much harder compared to SAM. The syallbus is geared towards the 2 or 3 unit HSCs.
Which campus are you interested in taking this programme? KDU or UNSW?

Hi there, i am interested in UNSW FOundation programme and wish to know more about it. ANyone taking this programme now??

I am still not sure if i want to go to AUs or KDU for this programme. Which do you think is better?
Are there any scholarships available for this programme?

I calcualted the costs if i wanted to go to AUstralia for this programme, i wil need aoubt RM100,000 per year. ANd about RM 64,000-68,000 before going. I can get a job to cover up the remaining costs.

But i come from a family with an average income, so it's almost not possible to fork that much amount of money. My sister constant words about "what about AFTER the programme? Will you have enough money to continue?", "YOu have to think about the money you will need for the years you study in UNSW." etc....It's discouraging me to give up..

Btw, I am interested to take up Psychology in UNSW.

Standard & Standard Plus

To enter the Standard program, you need strong academic grades. To enter the Standard Plus program you should have at least average grades. Depending on your preferred undergraduate program, a minimum grade in mathematics may also apply. Entry from other than the final year of school requires superior grades and may be eligible for the Standard Plus program only.
? Consideration is given to the actual subjects studied
? Forecast results are accepted where appropriate
? Provisional offers of an undergraduate place are given to international students enrolled in the recommended stream of study
? It should be noted that, in order to be granted provisional offers of places in highly competitive undergraduate programs such as Medicine and Law, you must have very high grades.

Places are limited in all Foundation programs and entry is competitive. You therefore, need to apply early to ensure being offered a place in the next available program.

Minimum Requirement

SPM (or forecast)

Don't waste money. Do the foundation here, then go to Australia for the degree.

Yeah, but a few of my teachers strongly don't recommend the sole college offering this programme for some reason. I don't know why?

well, KDU's programmes have a favourable reputation..and I believe if you plan on attending UNSW then the said programme should be the best option for you :)

I did A-Levels btw, but I could say that Australian foundation programmes are relatively easy :)

as for how to apply, why don't you go to their website ASAP? I bet the early intakes are in progress! Or call them maybe?
