No, I'm not talking about another one of those failed ReCom get together's. I'm talking about a fictional political party called ReCom.

Parti ReCom to be exact.

Let's use this thread as a starting point, of how we, the leaders of tomorrow, shape ideology, and contribute ideas as to how we can make Malaysia a better place for all.

Obviously, some of the conditions are:

1. Colour blindness
2. Respect for all ideologies (even if you are communist etc.)
3. Recognise that human evolution is based on furthering self-interest
4. Religion is religion. Not yours, not mine, but religion

I hope we won't:

1. See a power struggle (there's no hierachy in Parti Recom anyway)
2. Campaigning/slandering others
3. Money politics (snigger)
4. Accusing each other of being corrupt sodomist
5. Allow Special Branch personals to scare us

I hope we will:

1. Share our views as Malaysians (not Malay, Chinese, Indians etc)
2. Apply theory to everyday life (e.g. Libertarianism, New Left, Liberal Democracy, Socialism, Communism etc.)
3. Leave out religion from politics
4. Emphasise equality, human rights, freedom of speech etc.
5. and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

We can form some kind of secrety society like the Order of Recom or the Knights of Recom. There'll be grandmasters who maintain the leadership of this order and also maintain this awesome web site.

We take it very religiously. Perhaps second after God and of course above any political parties that we belong to.

We will be diperse all over the world... in top universities, on the top management of Fortune 500 companies, in non-profital organizations, in the U.N. and it's many bureaus...

We shall have a solemn pledge and a secret gatherings where we conduct occult-like ceremonies.

and we hope this order or society would last for centuries just like the freemasons or the illuminati.

our plans will be known only to those in Parti recom...so that the indoctrination of the party's ideology (what was proposed by misled_youth) can be carried out without the knowledge of others...

I thought ReCom is supposed to be non-partisan and non-committal on such issues.

I think we would be better off being a watchdog organization (oversight committee, etc etc.) run by students rather than making a party of our own which gives valid reason for any 'enemies' to do stuff to us.

I believe we do not have any hidden agendas in coming to talk peacefully and thoughtfully here.

Forming ranks to forward our own brand of thinking, culture, laws, etc. would be self-defeating and not to mention, folly...

I agree with The_Observer. the aim of ReCom is not to be a political party, or , another opposition party who bash the government.
It's suppose to be a learning center for Malaysians:

Our aim is to build understanding among Malaysians. This is the place where you want to express your concern and exchange information and ideas, and having an intellectual debate while respecting each other.Not forming another political party. we try to be as civilized as we can.
