Chinese tuition teaching tips?

Hello...I currently have a Standard 3 student learning Chinese tuition from me...Just wondering, anyone here have experience teaching Chinese tuition to younger students? Or have taken Chinese tuition (at any level)and found the teacher's method interesting and easy to follow? Can share your experiences/tips here...let's learn from each other=)

(I don't have NJ Star installed, so can't type in Chinese...:()

You don't need NJ Star, most windows operating system come with an option to install Chinese language input.

Otherwise, you can get Google Pinyin for free here (http://www.google.com/ime/pinyin/). It's actually my favourite Chinese input software.
