First things first, congratulations to you who have gotten the JPA Scholarships. You have been given a very good opportunity to further your studies. We hope that you can use this opportunity well, and excel in your studies. We hope that you don't just aim for a pass, but to be the best of all students, worldwide!

For those of you who didn't get it, fret not! Getting a place in JPA PILN scholarships is just like playing lottery. There is a big chance that you'll not get it, and it is probably because there are too much of you who have excellent results in SPM last year. However, life doesn't end here, it continues on.

Go, do whatever that you want to do next to the best of your capabilities. In fact, give even more than what you are capable of. Look for the light at the end of the tunnel, and walk, no, don't walk, run towards it! Do your best, and prove that it is a mistake that JPA doesn't choose you. Do even better than those who have gotten the scholarships!

If you ever need someone to talk to, feel free to contact any of the mods. All of us here are ready to lend an ear to you, to hear your heart, and provide advises if needed. Remember, you are not alone there; we're all ready to help!

And lastly, a friendly warning for all. We in ReCom will not tolerate flames. It is not the others' fault that you are not selected for the scholarship. So, any flaming posts bashing the other races or another person will be deleted on sight!

I agree with you. Last thing all of us wan 2 argue about which makes many people dissatisfied like last year.

the waiting period is the most unbearable season, since the result is revealed already, move on, go for your back up plan(s) or plan for another plan if you do not have any back up plan.

After about 10 or 20 years, when you look back, it's just another small incident. Everything that life gives you has hidden reason(s).Prove to yourself that you wont be beaten by this(fail to secure JPA or other scholarships).

Might be a stupid suggestion but why not create a thread where people can rant and spam (with normal forum restrictions like no racist/inflammatory views, personal attackts etc) all they want about how scholarships/rejection etc?

It would be a good way to vent frustration and when the chaos dies down, the mods can just lock the thread. XD

i agree u delete those flaming thread.

for those who didn't make the cut, u should be thinking of what the future lies ahead of you. if this problem u cannot solve it, do u think u can solve other bigger problems in ur future? and what do u get exactly by blaming others? NOTHING!

but, still, i understand why some of them are furious. some of them are my friends in fact. the announcement was announced very near to UPU entrance. next time, either JPA or MARA, please announce the results A BIT earlier so that the students won't fail to secure any place.

as the malay saying goes, "Yang dikejar x dapat, yang dikendong keciciran". let's all the bad things happening be a lesson to all of us, not the one that'll block our dreams to become a reality.

yeah, i really think that its merely about luck.
blaming others & also raising up the matter bout the race is not a good respond at all.
& also about that Mara/Jpa result. yeah its so damn true, maybe if the release date of the result is earlier then it'll be better for us, the fact that other scholarships also want the recipient to give the answer as soon as possible make us in doubt. seriously, to take or to just reject & hope that Jpa/Mara will come. so, if both aint coming it'll be totally a waste.

i believe that when it's meant for us, it'll be ours. no more flaming others.
