I just talked to Aunty Maharom ( MSD Chicago officer ) today. She said she already received the info from JPA on the date you guys are coming. But she said you guys still have not contacted her. I don?t know all of you guys who will be going to Northwestern University/University of Chicago this fall, so I am forced to ?spam? Recom to get the message across.
Northwestern University people:
Bad news, most probably there will be no senior to greet you when you arrive. But MSD is just a few blocs away from the university, so it should not be a big problem. They can help you guys.
University of Chicago people:
Most probably, Amelia (your senior) will be there. I suggested you guys contact her so that she can show you guy around the university when you guy arrive. Trust me; you will NOT WANT to get lost on your way to U Chicago. Anyway, my friend David (the local Chicago guy that I tell you guys to get in touch with last time) will be in town too. He will be glad to show you guy around too.
Since you all got no place to stay when you arrive, MSD is going to arrange the accommodation for you guys. But you guys will need to contact MSD immediately, so that they can make necessary arrangement in time, most hotel near the campus will be full (you are not the only one reporting in as freshmen).
