Where you stay?? I also get diploma in kejuruteraan pertanian. But I think i will not go there to study, because it is too far and after you complete your diploma, less chance will give to us to continue degree compare to those who study form 6.

It is a diploma programme and I think it is a longer path compared to taking pre-U. Besides, are you interested in pertanian? No offence here, but not many people venture into this career and so far, in this forum, I haven't seen anyone discussing about it. Is it a good career option? Have you done your research? Do not follow friends and families...you know yourself best.

Well, I think your agricultural study still holds some value, at least you don't have to compete with others like in IT degree where u have to fight with thousands other applicants whenever you apply for any IT job.

if u r studying agricultures degree course , and If your family is into agricultures business for generations and you want to take a Degree so that you can take it over, then i believe it is good for you.

But if you are just interested in agri and want to take a degree, then reconsider it.!IMO, Unlike countries like Australia, UK and US where they are actually being treated as professional agriculturist ,in our country, agriculturist are not considered PROFESIONALS.

Alternatively, Yes, u can proceed to Degree and work in IOI, Gutrie, KLK etc. You may also start of as a Cadet be promoted to Plantation Manager and earn a good living.=)
