Curious to know if there are anyone else studying this course under JPA... Feel FREE TO DISCUSS ABOUT IT
I need to study at UniTEN, so my quest is how procedures r going on? [since most of JPA scholars study at either intec or inti]

I think all Computer Science majors in the years before you(including me) only studied at INTI, so we can't really help you out here ): You can still ask us questions like about applying to US or Computer Science in general though.
I can't believe we have no juniors this year D:

I got that exact course too. Computer science, ACTP, US, and UNITEN!! Lol. So, hello brother. But i dont think i'll be choosing it. Very likely to reject it for accounting-petronas. Not sure its right thing or not. Very frustrated. =(

I can't exactly give you a simple briefing because the process is not simple at all >_< I suggest you look at the threads in the Pre-U/Postgrad/Undergraduate section in ReCom, as there are a few threads about applying to the US.
Or you could also go here http://usapps2010.wordpress.com/application-resources/ Plenty of helpful links to get you started.
You'll have to do a lot of your own research during the application process, so it's best to start now :)

I don't think we r able to do double major, when jpa offered computer science then it should be computer science.. BTW can someone clarify this for kenlin_ooi ?

It's entirely possible to double major, as long as you do it within 3/4 years. depending on whether you go for freshman or transfer. To get a degree, you just need to take courses required by the major you want.
However, it's best to double major in related courses, as they have similar course requirements and it will take less time to do so. For example, you can double major in Comp Science and Physics, as Physics has similar required courses with CS. To double major in CS and Art is hard, as you will have to take a lot more courses to meet the Art requirements, and have limited time to do so as you are limited by JPA.
I'm not too sure on CS and EE, it really depends on the university you are going to. EE is quite a heavy major, so maybe you can check with Uniten whether anybody else has done something similar.

CS can be part of science or EE department, in fact there are many EE departments offer CS, like Stanford, UC Berkeley etc. If you go the EE route, you have to fulfil both EE and CS requirements to graduate in EE as well. Usually the CS major coming through the EE department spend more time in EE subjects like logic design, computer architecture etc. An indepth understanding of the hardware architecture will be very helpful if you want to write code to take advantage of the hardware. This is particularly so in handheld applications and GPGPU computing.

Frank
