Post your avatar here if you need it to be resized.

If you need a new avatar you can describe what you need and we'll try to make it.

Can/should we make this automatic? Some tool like convert should be good enough.

http://imagemagick.sourceforge.net/

what do you guys think?

I was thinking more like a tool when new members put new avatar or during change avatar. For example when you post a picture to friendster it will resize it for you and if you don't like it (after bein shrunk) you can post another one.

I'm sure it can be done...bcos I've seen other forums having this function. But the question is "how" kua. I dunno much about forum thingy and their codes and etc.... so I dont know how. :)

how did you resize it? I can try resizing it for you if you want.

as i was suggesting, i think this should just be part of the uploading process provided by the server instead of having everyone download picasa or other program to do it...

Ya. If you see a "permission denied" thingy, just alert one of the anchors. The root cause is that since we moved to shared hosting, all our permissions we reseted to the "safe" level (644 or 755, if you know what I'm talking about). We'll need to evaluate each file again to see if we have to make it writable.
