Hi, I'm currently takin' A-levels in INTI Penang. I took up Accounts,Econ,Maths. I would like to ask if I want to apply to study LAW for my degree, is it possible to do so? I mean like I'm not takin' Laws for my A-levels, then will the university din take me into first consideration....???
By the way, I'm planning to apply NUS for law degree after a-levels.what are the requirements? can anyone tell me the pathway of studying Law and become a lawyer in S'pore? Thanks.:)

It is ok to apply for Law if you're not taking law as a subject for pre-u. I heard it is extremely hard to get a place to read Law in NUS. 80% students are straight-As scorers. But you can always try. For those taking Singapore A-levels, one of the required subjects is General Paper. You can try email NUS and ask more. =)

I have a question here.
Before entering NUS, students need to sit for an exam which set by NUS or just submit their Alevel result?

i think they want you to take SATs also.

Hi TS, you can sit for GP independently, just register for the subject through your college.
I believe NUS only requires your SAT results if you're planning to apply with forecast A-Level results. However, the last time I checked, law was one of the few courses that needed your *actual* results, as it's highly competitive.
There will also be an interview and an admissions exam.

If there's no general paper, IELTS or TOEFL scores should be submitted. But you can reconfirm this with the NUS admission officers. =)

That means without GP, then I will have to sit either SAT, IELTS or TOEFL in order to got admitted into NUS. :amazed
I planning to take one more subject for my a-levels, cause some people say that 3 subjects in A-levels is not sufficient enough to secure a seat in NUS..as it's very competitive ..haiz

Does anyone know what the interview for admittance into NUS law school is like? Is there a particular format used (eg. group discussions, individual interviews, etc)?
Thanks in advance!
