If the sponsorship has bond included as a condition of offer, then yes. If not, it's up to you.

this you have to look carefully at the terms&condition when u sign the contract/ agreement to accept the scholarship.... some required u to work for them, some required you to do advertisement for them, some wants you to involve in the promotion of the college when there's education fair and so on.... :amuse

Hi I would like to suggest that the 60+ scholarships under SPM/STPM (wow such a long list) to be further sorted based on:

(i) For Local/Overseas Universities (or Both)
(ii) Pre-U/Undergraduate/Both

Or maybe just add some details (must be accurate) behind each scholarship..
e.g. xxx scholarship (Local & Overseas, Pre-U & Undergraduate)
yyy scholarship (Local, Undergraduate)

Normally what is the requirement for the family's financial status ? Do scholarship like JPA, Khazanah,Petronas... need the family income not to excess a certain amount ? TQ.

yup.. they do require the financial status but yet they don't really put the limit at the requirement during application unless stated ... all the factors include family income are taken into account in order to choose the scholar(this is what i remembered from last year) which each aspects take a certain percentage but yet the most important is ur result then kokurikulum then others

some scholarship doesn't mention courses offered... so, does that mean we can put any course we want??

no too sure about this..... it the some yayasan scholarship rite??? For the yayasan honda if not mistaken , you can choose any course (as they only choose 20 suitable scholars one based on your essay and few others level of elimination) .... for others not sure

Just apply as long as you get at least 9 A-. No one at ReCom can tell you if you will be selected for interview or get the scholarship eventually.

As long as you meet the minimum requirement, ie. no B in the subject/s listed and not screwing up the application form, it is almost unlikely for them to eliminate you from the interview...

However, having said that, to secure the scholarship (i mean stand a high chance of getting, NO GUARANTEE!!!) requires 11 A+ or at least all A+ in the main subjects listed...

Good luck to all applicants, and congratulation on your SPM results^^

Guys, can I ask? Is Vet Med seriously not included anymore in this year's scholarships?
I am about to declare a state of dilemma, considering that scholarships for this course are just RARE. Yes, I think I have done sufficient research. ><

What is ur interest? Biology, Physics, Chemistry, etc. You hv 2 think about it b4 deciding ur course. if u really wan Vet Med go ahead. Try to call JPA if u can do Vet med through foundation in science, as some of my frens opt to foundation in science, so tat they cn choose to go to courses tat they like which isn't listed in JPA's list.

Dear Merlin, usually JPA will open it about a week after the SPM result, check the site regularly yah. :amuse

Oh yeah and the other info that we get from this site is that JPA will only sponsor students for Program Kejuruteraan Di Negara Bukan Berbahasa Inggeris for this year. ^^ So aiming for Japan anyone? Hehe

Sorry but I'm not sure about that. But I've heard that juniors from ADFP and Ausmat programme have already started their studies here. Met them already and I think they used their trial's result to obtain the scholarship. I'm not sure this is PPC or what.

Hi
I found this great site for those looking for 2012 financial help to study at Malaysian private universities / colleges: http://www.malaysia-education.com/financial-aid.html It does not include scholarships for overseas study, though.
You have to be quick, though, as many deadlines are fast approaching.
