Here's the thing.
My friend got 7A's for SPM, B+ for Physics and BM. If she goes for the late entry she'll finish in 6 months, but would like books/notes on Foundation in Science first. My question is, is it possible to acquire a CGPA of 3.7 and above in a span of four to six months? Since I heard the course is 6 months - don't know about the college name.
Does anyone have experience on this? Is Foundation in Science tough, easier or on the same level as STPM? She's asking for advice, because she doesn't think a student like her, which she considers herself "not smart, but has to work very hard to get grades" can get 3.7 in such a short time. Is it possible? She's considered a mediocre-good student, but she needs to work REALLY hard.
Oh, just for promotion and space-saving sake:
Foundation in science notes/books (http://www.recom.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12664)
As the above link mentioned:
"She's willing to buy secondhand notes/books used for a full Foundation in Science course. I'm posting this thread here in hopes that anyone is willing to sell the notes/books used in Foundation in Science for a reasonable price. If possible, does anyone have AIMST college notes/books for the course? That's just a preference, but if anyone has other notes on Foundation in Science, please do answer ASAP!"
Also, please tell me the method of paying if you do, because I'm a little blur
and:
"Are there any books with brands like Longman, Pelangi, etc. for Foundation in Science? Can we get them in MPH or any other major bookstore? (Stupid question, but please answer) Because nobody will give/sell/secondhand her the foundation notes/books unless she enrolls in the Foundation course at the colleges. And if there are, are they easy to understand? Because some might be written by foreign authors, and not local authors."
Thanks very, very much in advance!
P.S : Please don't say the college will provide, because she has not ENROLLED yet. So she's not waiting around till she enters and gets the notes, then regrets. I'm sorry if there is a thread similar to this. I thought I should explain myself first in a thread so it's easier.
