Why the hate towards Singapore?

Seriously, I don't get it, why is it that Malaysians (and by that, I meant by most of the Malaysians I've met so far) have this profound hatred towards Singaporeans?

Most of the posts there consists of nothing but mindless, yet relentless insult towards the Singaporeans by Malaysian users.... which I really don't get it (and to think about it, I'm a Malaysian too! O_o).

aiya if you read the screenshotted forums that are happening in sg, you'll see that the singaporeans were bashing msia too. nobody's better here, both sides are just ignorant narrow minded cows.

Because both side envy each other. Like Americans and Europeans.

A threat to each other in a very competetive way. Like Arsenal and Manchester? or Ferrari and McLaren? or Malaysian Badminton and Indonesian badminton?

As long as nobody is hurt, except some hard feelings. I see no harm in it.

A little off-topic,
Like Malaysians, Singaporeans are also facing the same political dilemma we are.One political party for too long. A little different here and there but they could relate. Must be the water they get from UMNO's stronghold johor that is causing these similarities. :D
Also, part of the problem is water. Let them have it. Also we need to build a channel up north near langkawi crossing the whole penninsula and see singapore die :D

I guess the whole point of my post was, People rather talk about bull shit then face their own problems.

It's a lot more fun and less depressing to talk about your neigbours rather then to look at ourself in the mirror and see what are the mistakes you have done and how you could correct it.

I was at the Liverpool vs Celtics in East hartford couple of months ago. Liverpool killed celtics 5 - 1. Fun game.

I was lucky to catch Arsenal few years ago in Kuala lumpur when they had an exhibition match against Malaysia. To bad bergkamp don't like flying. The only reason i like Arsenal is Bergkamp. When he leaves so will my support for that team. :D

We already kicked their butts in soccer so many times singapore is a joke to malaysia. Now it's Malaysia vs Thailand when it comes to soccer. Sometimes Indonesia.

I agree that it is a 2 ways thingy... I've been to and lived in Singapore for 8 months and there, i've met people who hate Malaysia too... But all these are just crap, they just hate for the reason of hating... and normally, these crap are discussed behind our back... just like we discussed and joked about them in our very Malaysian Forum...

just like when u did something wrong, in order not to tarnish the Malaysian image, u can always say: Sorry, I'm a Singaporean.... hahaha...It works??... Just Joking...

reminds me of this joke... in the world map, Malaysia is bigger than Singapore and is located to the north of it. However, in singapore's map, Singapore is BIGGER than Malaysia and is viewed the other direction (singapore is on top of Malaysia)...

u know what,most mat salleh here think that most of my malay friends as being from Cambodia,Bangladesh,Vietnam.

nobody have ever said any of them to be from Malaysia or indonesia.perhaps malaysian/singaporean/indonesian are total strangers to them.
