This is currently the hottest issue in chinese community. I think we should discuss this because I think as malaysian we really have to know what's going on in our community...
I think it's a complex issue but maybe the impact of such events is very great on chinese society... so we have to comprehend what's behind such chaos.....

In this issue, one of the reasons would be due to the "fight for power". After election for Selangor Chinese hall, a faction lost and they started a dissident group. I am with SCAH!

Those who really know the inside out of the incident please share with us here...Hopefully won't draw the attention of ISA...hahaa...just kidding.
ChenChow: Is it really matter which side will glory in this incident? Will the glory side make a better future of Chinese in Malaysia or Klang Valley? What do you think?
I only read the news from local m'sian chinese paper. I think the main cause of the so called chaos is due to the ugly human nature, i.e. selfishness. This problem is particularly obvious in Chinese community, not only in Malaysia. See how ugly the incident when the MP of Taiwan fighting in parliament.
Anyway, I don't think we have to give too much attention regarding this topic as we won't be able to learn anything from this so called chaos apart from what i mentioned above. Frankly speaking, it's a shame of Chinese ethnicity. Anak Malaysia, let's work hard for a better Malaysia instead of fighting for this non-sense.

I have asked a member of Hainan association about it...
he says KLCAH makes chinese community cracked up and
politicians are now trying to make use of chinese assiciation..
it is established without the blessing of chinese community, it should be founded from bottom to the top

_earth, I have went on to search at the objective of Selangor Chinese Hall Association, which is typically regarded as the parent body of all chinese associations.
Its objectives (which I translate) are:-
1. Increase the networking of Chinese Associations.
2. Liaise with the activities of Chinese Associations.
3. Spread the awareness of Malaysian Chinese culture.
4. Push(I think push is not the best translation, the word used is tui1 dong4, mind translate?) for Social Welfare
5. Ensure that the rights of community is maintained.
6. Express the voice of Malaysian Chinese communities.
7. Enhance the unity among races in Malaysia.
8. Thrive for a prosporous nation.

Now the majority of the chinese societies and clans have decided to boikot KLCAH
this include hua jong, jiao jong and dong jong
wonder why KLCAH can be approved in just one month time... and it's founded without the community's blessing...
