Para pelajar lepasan Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) atau yang setaraf dengannya yang ada membuat permohonan UPU kemasukan ke Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam (IPTA) bagi sesi akademik 2011/2012 boleh membuat semakan keputusan permohonan mereka selepas pukul 12 tengahari pada 6 Mei 2011.

Penerimaan Tawaran



Semua calon yang berjaya wajib membuat pengesahan setuju untuk menerima tawaran dari IPTA dalam tempoh tujuh hari bekerja iaitu pada atau sebelum 14 Mei 2011.
Pengesahan penerimaan tawaran ini boleh dibuat melalui laman web IPTA yang berkenaan. Sila rujuk Senarai IPTA (http://eputra.com/senarai-ipta-universiti-di-malaysia/) dan klik pada Semakan Permohonan.
Calon yang berjaya boleh mencetak surat tawaran melalui laman web IPTA yang sama mulai 7 Mei 2011. Maklumat lebih terperinci akan diperolehi melalui surat tawaran ini.

Program Diploma ? Tarikh pendaftaran pelajar baru ke IPTA adalah 4 dan 5 Jun 2011.
Program Asasi ? Tarikh pendaftaran pelajar baru ke Pusat Asasi IPTA adalah 22 Mei 2011. Sila rujuk Bantuan Kewangan Pelajar Asasi IPTA (http://www.portal.mohe.gov.my/portal/page/portal/ExtPortal/MarketSponsor/OtherMisc/Info/Loan3) untuk maklumat pembiayaan belajar.

Rayuan UPU



Sila buat rayuan di Permohonan e-Rayuan Lepasan SPM/Setaraf Sesi Akademik 2011/2012.
Hanya calon yang gagal menerima sebarang tawaran ke IPTA dibenarkan mengemukakan rayuan melalui aplikasi e-Rayuan ke Bahagian Pengurusan Kemasukan Pelajar, Jabatan Pengajian Tinggi dalam tempoh 10 hari bekerja selepas keputusan rasmi permohonan kemasukan ke IPTA diumumkan.
Calon gagal mendapat tawaran ke IPTA tetapi berjaya mendapat tawaran ke Matrikulasi KPM masih boleh mengemukakan permohonan rayuan tetapi semasa proses back-end calon yang telah berdaftar dengan Kolej Matrikulasi KPM diselaraskan dan tidak akan dipertimbangkan dalam proses rayuan kemasukan ke IPTA.
Tarikh tutup permohonan e-Rayuan adalah pada 16 Mei 2011.
Keputusan rayuan dijangka akan dimaklumkan pada minggu kedua Jun. Jika tiada sebarang tawaran diterima dari IPTA empat minggu selepas tarikh pendaftaran IPTA, maka rayuan mereka dianggap gagal.

Pilihan Tawaran



Dijangkakan ramai calon yang mempunyai keputusan cemerlang akan menerima lebih daripada satu tawaran. Pemohon yang berjaya perlu membuat keputusan yang bijak dan tepat serta mendaftar ke program yang dipilih mengikut jadual yang ditetapkan. Bagi pemohon yang tidak berjaya ke IPTA tetapi menerima tawaran ke institusi lain dinasihatkan mendaftar ke program berkaitan kerana tawaran tempat ke IPTA adalah terhad.
Bagi pelajar lepasan SPM selain melanjutkan pelajaran ke IPTA, mereka boleh menimbangkan untuk sambung belajar di Tingkatan 6, serta Institusi Pendidikan Teknikal & Latihan Vokasional (TEVT) dan Institut Latihan Kemahiran Awam (ILKA) seperti Diploma di Politeknik, sijil-sijil di Kolej Komuniti dan ILKA lain, mengikuti Kursus Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) atau Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) yang juga menyediakan peluang pendidikan tinggi.

There is no straight path to Perubatan/Medical course. The students will enroll in Asasi Sains/Asasi Sains Hayat (Foundation in Science/Foundation in Life Science and try to get 4 flat first in the local universities before being eligible to apply for the medic course.

In my opinion, UM, UKM, USM medical degree is of better quality than foreign medical degrees in certain countries.

Yes, in my personal opinion, I opined that Unimas is equally a good uni for medic. Afterall, it is one of the accreditated medical training and teaching institutions as reported in NST today.

I am not successful for a place in IPTA.:( Wish to check whether anyone is successful for the UPSI Diploma Pendidikan Awal Kanak2? Wish to know also whether all who applied for the said course will be called for the interview as I want to be certain that I did not miss the interview due to the fact that I may have checked at the wrong website. Me too and I accept the offer. I've already rejected KPM Matriculation offer and MMU offer.

To me, it doesn't matter where you will do your asasi /matrics but the most important thing is you must complete the course with high CGPA.:)

Chelsea, so sorry for late replying you. There are too many differences between both AsasiS. At first, I think IT course is in the range of Physical Science. After I get through the UIAM website (because my teacher mention this), I see that IT is under Engineering there. OMG! I make a wrong choice. But then, my senior says that I have a chance to switch over to Engineering in the orientation week. In Physical Science, there are Bachelors like Pure Math, Math Science, etc. I don't know what they are all about. That's why I don't think I could pursue in Physical Science. Hopefully I'm able to switch over this course. :) And MUST learn Arabic. In the orientation week, there are tests (English & Arabic) to determine how many years for our Asasi.

I am sure both of your friend are busy right now and for info, I am from Sabah too but now staying with my brother in Damansara.

Last week, we went to Uitm Puncak Alam, just wanna see how the campus looks like. AT first, I'm in doubt whether I shall proceed with Asasi or take up MMU offers. After I read our senior experience, then i believe I have made a wise decision.
