I was shortlisted to go for interview at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur on 12th of May under The Star Education Fund. Should I go for it? Does it covers my monthly allowance and give me full scholarships? By the way, I am from Sarawak. Do they provide me the airfare to go to KL for the interview?

Hello there Penny! =) first of all, I think you should go for it IF you have no problems on buying the airfare to and from KL. This is because all the travelling expenses for your journey to the venue of the interview will not be covered by The Star.

Also, the scholarship only covers your tuition fee for the course you applied. that means the living allowance and other fees you gotta pay for yourself.

It's such a sad case. I applied for all the newspaper scholarships, but didn't even get asked to go for one.

Yes i did. But most of them were rejected.

gosh, i am a bit paranoid about phone calls now. today is the 8th day after my interview. hmm

The results are out within one week after your interview. No call from them means you failed in securing the scholarship.
