Oracle Take Over of PeopleSoft

Oracle has finally managed to take over PeopleSoft. It would mean the consolidation of 2 gigantic companies in the database industry.

Any thoughts on this issue?

I thought they would refuse oracle offer even if the offer reached a ridiculous value.

apparently oracle put up a higher bid that shareholders couldn't refuse. looks like the people were.. getting *soft* ehekhekhek..
