I was having a discussion with a fellow ReComer this morning on this topic, and I am curious to know what fellow ReComers think about this topic "KBKK Component in SPM Questions" . Basically KBKK will be about Thinking questions, i.e. indirect questions.

What do you guys think about this? Especially those who have been doing past year questions, what do you think? Do more and more thinking skills are required to do those SPM questions?

I would hope that ReComers try to look from the perspectives of questions, and not just notion of difficulty, since some of us could be better in answering direct questions, some of us could be better in answering indirect questions.

I would hope that you mention which year SPM you are in. With there are ReComers from different years of SPM, we could get a decent cross section here.

Malaysian Ministry of Education and Examinations Syndicate is trying to introduce the KBKK element to our education system.
Indeed, it is a good sign towards the target to produce a generation with mature and independent thinking.
However, it needs time and live experience.
In fact, foreign countries have been emphasizing on critical thinking, especially US
Perhaps senior in the state can share with us some experience "struggling" in a "critical" environment, to prevent we junior from getting heart attack.
I think the best way to learn KBKK is by communicate with "critical" people  --- *hint* *hint* (those who got too much freedom including liberal thinking space are very KBKK)

Below are my experiences after 6 month taking American Degree Foundation Programme (ADFP) courses to prepare me to be "critical" enough :-
I heard that SAT questions are set by psychologists...
I was really amazed by SAT question, especially SAT1:reasoning test. I think it is KBKK enough!!!
Those who really like KBKK should take SAT1 and challenge themselves

and what about the handout in PEN105 [RSS with Critical Thinking]... (I think their have used the teaching material for years... that's why it is so smeared)... I really have a big headache with RSS, both the blurry text and KBKK questions.

--sorry I deviate, but still relate to KBKK ...heh heh...
but I think the first step toward KBKK is by inculcate interest in KBKK. It is very fun , and spicy~ouch!
