Delete Account

Hi, I no longer use this forum and would like to delete my account. Don't quite fancy my account popping up whenever I typed in my email on Google either. I tried looking in my control panel but couldn't find an account deletion option? Would be greatly appreciated if a moderator would be able to help me on that. MANY thanks in advance.

I don't think we are able to delete our accounts. I guess the only option is a permanent ban from the admin or the mods?

haha I think only admin can delete your account. But if you dont want to receive notifications from Recom, you can just change the settings at the Control Panel.

First of all, I googled your email and it directs me to username: ter (http://www.recom.org/forum/member.php?u=4518). In this account, your emails are visible to public search.

Second, I would like to let you know that it is not possible for me to erase your account. The most I can do is to ban you permanently.

Third, I am quite convinced that your account is splited into 2 accounts during the site migration in 8th March 2008 due to unforeseen technical errors.

Fourth, this account does not show your email publicly.


I think what I can do for you is to permanently ban the "ter" account (and make the emails invisible). I will leave this account (ab_initio) active since it does not show your email. Please private message me if you would like this account to be banned too.
