1st day to work

i dont know which part should i put in this "thingy".

tomorrow will be the first day i go to work.

i'll be an "admin assistant".

honestly i don't know anything about it because i got this job through my mom's friend.

and the manager there asked me to start work as soon as possible... and i need not attend any interview! weird huh??

what should i prepare?

or what should i pay attention on?

any advise will help me... thanks!

err... assist the administrator? what are you supposed to be admin-ing anyway?

Admin assistant literally means helping admistration work. To be more detail, the work should basically include typing(writing, editing and so on), photocopying, phone calling and receiving, and delivery; depends on what kind of company. Simple multi task. Take it easy. Happy working:)

my 1st day of work...

not as what i expected (the bad ways)

i expect i'll be very busy, but it turn out to be very bored...

i expect to learn something, but it turn out to be i did the same things i did at home (helping my dad to do some typing stuff)...

i expect to have some colleages to know, but it turn out everyone of them were busy having meeting (mind me... the whole day!) i was all alone... and got nothing to do... that was really bored...

the least expected thing is there was shortage of electricity... and that was quite a major one as the other states like JB and Melaka too ran out of power...

and i thought my working hour is from 9am till 5pm. but it turn out from 8.30am till 5.30pm... :cry:

hmm..but, juz remember, you get PAID for doing nothing...esok, bwk some of your fave CDS to work..wont hurt..if your boss allows you la..you wont feel as bored...
