The Ninth Malaysia Plan will take into account the views of not only political parties but also non-governmental organisations, workers unions and academicians.
?We are currently in the midst of preparing the plan and it is important that we take into account the views, problems and even grouses of the people as to ensure the Government is able to implement suitable programmes for everyone? Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said today.

Very good intentions. Three questions:
1) What is the process by which the 9th Malaysia Plan will be formulated?
2) Where can an average Ah Kau citizen find information regarding the "current state" of the Plan? (Regardless of whether it's ready for prime time.)
3) How can an average Ah Kau citizen push his thoughts regarding the Plan upwards in the policymaking stack, rather than just waiting for his opinion to be requested?
Any information or pointers thereto would be highly appreciated.

We can write in to the Prime Minister Dept or even letter to media to share our opinion. We can also share via a lot of other avenues, like through some respectable NGOs, political parties etc.
We can discuss this issue over here in ReCom within this week or so, and get our voice heard~!

Since when have minorities ever been given a voice and been taken seriously?
Since when has there been equal opportunity for employment?
Since when have promises been kept?
Etc etc etc etc

since when would the government take into account things that shows even the slightest sign of jeopardising their protectionist policies even if the suggestions are a move in the right direction?
