I still remember when the stamp was issued few years back.

After the recent Sept 11th Attack, apparently there are some Very Angry "American Patriots" who hates anything that has to do with Islam.

USPS when issuing these stamps have informed the majority of Muslims that they have to sell this much every year o they will stop printing it.

So here it goes. Buy that stamp whenever you wanna buy a stamp. Just to piss more of these very patriotic americans.

Guess we have different definitions of patriot.

btw, nice stamp :)

There are many "American patriots" who are true to the nation's ideology, who are trying to protect the interest of every community in this country, including the overly critized Muslims in the US.

And we have the "dumb patriots" as you call them. You might think that they are acting irrationally, I'd suggest otherwise. They might have different agenda, and it is hard to piece the entire picture together just by reading mass media. Some might come with a positive intention, a need to remove a potential threat from their community, maybe because they experience hardship being neighbors with Muslims. Others come with negative desire, sort of like a kkk kind of thinking.

But we have to realize that there's a third category of patriots in this country, which is the "silent patriots". For example, most of my friends don't go around making stupid comments about how people behave or about other people's religion. When prompted the issue at hand, they usually gave an indifferent view or they simply said "I don't care, coz I don't even know a single Muslim". But still, the love their country, some even do quite a bit to help out various communities. You don't have stand by or against your country's position in all issues to be a patriot.

I want a baby orc
