What would you do if you know that tomorrow is doomsday?

How will you spend your very last day on earth?

Some people are really afraid of death, thinking that all their preparation since born will be wasted. They think that they have put in too much effort for a future that never exists at all. While some others feel that the process is more important than the result, meaning that the preparation done towards achieving a goal is more significant than achieving the goal itself. So they do not establish any fear for death and take it as a matter of fact because they will have no regrets spending time for preparation which means a lot for them.

I had asked the same question in class before. And one of the answers given was really a big shock for me. The guy wants to commit suicide before everybody dies together the next day. And the reason given is that he wants to make sure he gets a place in heaven before it is filled up. Hah. I'm not sure if he's telling a joke or just want to be funny. But he did look serious while answering my question.

Well, I know most fellow ReComers will think that I'm pessimistic to think of such a question. But I just want to constantly remind myself to cherish every moment of life. What do you think?

*Hope this helps reduce the stress level of fellow candidates of SPM 2004. I know most of us are now worrying about the results and our future (application of scholarships and all). Just a final reminder: Treasure your life no matter what happens.

Whoa! A thread about doomsday to reduce stress on SPM 2004 candidates? Lol, you gotta be kidding, man. For some, getting bad results IS doomsday.

I think I'd probably do all the things that I've always wanted to do but didn't do because I was afraid of ruining my future...^_^ Makes sense?

All the things? Must be a lot right? Can you do them all in 24 hours?

Ruin your future? What kind of things will ruin your future? Taking drugs? Killing? [/b]

I dunno...maybe like spending a whole lot of money on a big trip...eating a whole lot of yummy but unhealthy food...that kind of thing. I don't even know what exactly I want to do. And no, I'm sure 24 hours wouldn't be enough. Just give in to every whim ^_^

Success is a journey, not a destination :P
My form teacher wrote that on our class page to motivate us to do better in life.
