If your results are good enough, you can still get law....are you considering business or econs?
Cos if you are interested, NUS (National University of Singapore) is offering a double degree programme in law and economics. Check it out here:

Amazingly, I was faced with this decision too. Econs or Law? I chose econs and a coupla years down the line , I am very glad I did.
As per the subject you're taking, it's risky to opt for law if you're not doing sejarah. I do believe that is the pre-requisite. But check. I could be wrong. also keep in mind that to take law, you need band 5 or 6 for muet.
Universities: UM is always the choice for econs, not only because the have the biggest intake for econs, but because they are traditionally strong in that subject. law however is a debate between uia (or iium) and um.
there are tons of overseas unis that offer dual programs for law and econs. juts run a google check :)
going overseas: sure you can. i did stpm and am not in australia on a scholarship for malaysian students pursuing economics. http://www.emaac.org for more info.
and fr ur law vs econs debate, try doing these:
1) talk to law and econs students and have a look at their textbooks
2) do a pro-con list
3) see if you like econs in school, now that you're studying it. if you think it's easy, then you do. that's what I thought.
4) see if you can do an attachment with a law firm just to see what it's about. and talk to lawyers too if you plan to practise law.
5) loads of other things :)
point to take note on of: business and econs are two very different things, even though they may seem the same on the surface. also, i think you'd do pretty good in econs considering you're also doing math. econs can get mathemathical in uni.
another thing, not to influence you or anything, econs rocks! :)

aidid! i cant believe i see u here.
that's a smart dudette. should listen to her.
BUT! UM's law is still the best! u see, most of the law firms will give priority to UM law grads in terms of doing the chambering or working with them. so no worries about it :D
well the chance for u to go abroad is very high as STPM is recognized in some of the countries... mainly UK. so no worries about that.
oi aidid... apsal econs rock? lebey lebey la lu... :p
