we are planning to get a domain name for our beloved reborn...

reborn.org has been taken same as .com .net .us .biz all of them are occupied.

well we are thinking about

reborncom.org
reborncommunity.org
recom.org
re-born.org
thereborn.org

please suggest...or you can suggest a new name...we dont mind...still thinking... please

Since we've already had this name, RECOM for so long and people are used to it, why change? It will only confuse people more.... ya know..esp ppl who've just joined recom.. 8O
So don't change, kay... I am sure ppl are comfortable with it now..
We can perhaps include some wordings like 'Malaysian (Overseas?) Students Network' in the banner or something like that... so that students can identify themselves with this site...

mmm i think kan miss silverblue and mr chenchow, this thread is already zeons old ... look at the last post date .. it's april ... that time i think ReCom had not had this domain name yet so this thread was the place they discuss about getting a domain name ... now ReCom.org has already been acquired so automatically this thread has become irrelevant ... mm I'd suggest to masterof_none to close this thread ...

yeah, i think that if an issue is no longer applicable or relevant, it should either be closed or at least be marked as 'OBSELETE' or 'CASE CLOSED' and give a conclusion or sth like that.. hehehe

but fully support what silverblue was saying, we should add a distinct phrase or sth like "Worldwide Malaysian Student Network" in top top part, either in the banner or just below the banner, or in the update or somewhere distinct, mainly because that's how we promote ourselves and we should have it...

By the way, to add an indicator either "obselete" or "message closed" will be great. Maybe you guys and make the "obselete" blink, to pull the attention before members give comments ... :wink:
