^What do you think of cross dressing?
I think it is fine for girls to wear man's shirt and not vice versa :D

speaking of women wearing men's shirt being ok - those who have watched sex and the city would remember one episode where Carrie runs off hastily from Mr. Big's apartment wearing ONLY his shirt with a big belt placed stylishly over it and walked back to her apartment, with her signature heels and all that.
When I watched that, my jaw dropped in awe.
About it being ok for women to assume men's clothing but not vice versa, haha, it has been talked about in some cultural studies I think. Some would deem it as sexist towards 'femininity' as when men don feminine clothing, it's either regarded as a joke or as a weapon or as a demeaning thing to do.
and we are the only 2 talking here. *sob*

haha...the scots have the kilt. I was reading once about this group in NYC that have a yearly rally or something like that where men from all over the world come and walk on the streets wearing skirts. Maybe it wasn't NYC. But the point is there is a movement that wants to make it naturally accepted that it's okay for men to wear skirts.
personally, I think that I can only bring myself to wear certain women's accessories. earring, bracelet, and my favorite the man-purse

Haha the earring and the bracelet ain't a woman's thing! The guys' accessories these days are just so nice! speaking of the man purse - anyone remember that episode of FRIENDS where Joey was toting a 'feminine' bag? Hehe....

well, it has to do with the what is ok and what is not according to society. Like in most islamic countries, gurls wearing a micro-mini skirt is deemed as not ok but in the West, it is the 'in' thing to do.
a guy wearing a baju kurung will most likely be thought as confused about his sex. he will be called "pondan' 'bapok' 'ah kua' among other things, all which has a negative connotation in it.
it all goes back to the society. what do u guys think? would u be caught wearing a short skirt, and a pantyhose in public?

i wouldn't mind wearing the punjabi or indian male traditional costume. Forgot what it's called. but i think it would be cool to be dressed in just a white loose dress like that with cool embroidery. I think that we could definitely make "dresses" that are not feminine but more "hippie" for lack of a better word.
Don't know if you guys know what i'm talking about.
