Windscreen Sticker

Suggesting to design and distribute car windscreen sticker since there are supporters here :lol: ... Distribute to different locations including overseas and locals... See, this might be a better way to promote RECOM :twisted: .. There might be a boost of RECOM members after the RECOM stickers are sticked on the windscreen :!: .. My dear RECOM friends, any ideas :? ?

funding must come from a source not multiple sources unless you wanna make this a project of the members of ReCom.
decide and make it official, we can go a longer way
First lets design a proper logo and/or symbol for ReCom.
Then we need a catch phrase.
After these two tasks are accomplished then we move to the stickers
Ok for that i will post some suggestions, but give me some time
on the logo i am afraid to say im not that of an artist but ill try.

i'm not sure how much does this cost, and how much does running our server and all cost...

but looking at the traffic of recom... i guess, the ads by google will be able to fund this project... :)

For design...i think we should keep it simple.

maybe something like www.recom.org in huge letters
then underneath we have like a tag line or something.

"the worldwide malaysian students network"
"the future of malaysia"
"web community of students, by students, for Malaysia"

since we have members from all over the world, i think we need someone from each region/country to be the person in charge if we would like to see this project progressing.

It's also important to make sure everyone knows how many of the stickers were sold and where do the money go.

the cost per sticker wouldn't cost that much... but if u print massively, it is still going to cost quite some amount...


and i got an idea abt distributing it... got this idea from another website that's giving out free bumper stickers...

Those who want to get the free stickers will have to send a self-addressed-stamped-envelope (SASE) to the Recom personnel who has the stickers... then, that Recom personnel will just need to put the stickers into the envelope and mail it back...

well... that's only if we are going to give out the stickers free...

b3ng-han, i've forwarded your idea to the anchors. we're discussing it. and will let you know bout it soon.
so far, everyone seems to be in favour of the idea. masterof_none used to sell stickers for his school, so he knows where can get printers etc. but now, the design.

anyone has good designs?
i suggest we use the banner but make the word www.recom.org bigger..its cun oledi maa :wink: :wink:
