Well,
It is an interesting pictures, but could you point out which part of Mars is it? In year 2006 USA and EUROPE will be having their competition to send out Robots for exploration. USA interset is finding Water and yet EUROPE interst is finding the pathology of Life exsistance in Mars...
Cool, space Travel at 2020 by Malaysia :)

Something tells me that when the big balloon crashed on Mars, a group of ant-kind of life form was totally destroyed...
Another itch is that the surface isn't that hard, hence whether it rolls, it's gonna put weight on the martian structures below, crushing their homes, leaving them devastated. They will all come to the surface, sacrificing themselves and yield to the new world order brought about by our compadres on earth...
On an unrelated note, I finally watched E.T. the movie. yey!

I wonder whether it's true that they found some sort of ice on the Earth's moon??
is that telling us that there might be some water on it?
or isit just hocus pocus...
anyway, i know this is an old story, but come to think about project on Mars, would it be stupid to migrate to another planet while you still making pollution and destructions on your own planet??
i doubt that..

it's really ice. but frozen carbon dioxide, not the typical ice.

There's nothing stupid about it. The European had wars but they still explored the world back in the 15th/16th/17th century.

Just thought that it maybe useful and it has more links below.
By the way, it seems that Mars is similar to Earth in a lot of points but how possible it is to find any living creatures there?
Or how could human create an atmosphere like Earth on Mars (as far as I know they have an atmosphere too)?

Terraforming!!! It might take a few decades or even a few centuries but hey Rome was not built in a day.
And hey again, we have successfully increased CO2 in the Earth atmosphere tremendously and there is no reason why we can't do the same (i.e. increase the atmospheric pressure) on Mars! :D
