Where did you get your minis?

Which is your favourite mini and where did you get it from?

I am still on the quest for a perfect destressed mini that won't cost me a bomb (Though you've gotta admit that the AnF ones are so pretty!). However, my most comfy one so far is the one I bought at the recent Unionbay sales.

What bout you girls?

i havent found my fave denim mini yet...but the mini that i like is from mambo...it's not denim but it's like denim...and it's easy to match...i wear it the most among my minis...i think minis are best when short...i know it sounds duh! but i usually get those that are less than 12" and slightly flared and non-stretchable. oh yea, they have to be worn as hipsters too...hence the length. well, i guess AnF has the shortest minis around...topshop n zara have nice v. short distressed denim minis too...in order not to look slutty, wear a decent top but that doesnt mean u cant be sexy.

My butt is probably too big for a 12" mini to cover haha. Am actively looking for an embroidered one that looks something like this:

And I saw a really pretty one in a KL shop that day (which obviously did not carry my size) - a destressed mini with a red embroidered peony patch on the right.

sometimes ppl with big butts dont look nice in the kind of minis that u showed cuz it's quite hard for them to wear their minis low cuz they'll keep riding up their butt. minis that are longer than 12" are not nice, IMHO. of course this is relative to ur height. but if u're anything btwn 5'-5'5"...stick to those shorter than 12".

that one looks like it's from AnF...get it online? or u can buy a plain one n customise it urself with some nice appliques?

wearing minis doenst mean that u like to expose ur skin...i wear them cuz i like the way i look in them...some ppl dont look nice in pants, u see...esp short ppl like me

I totally know what you mean!! I am about 5'6" and am a size 10-12 top, size 12-14 bottom. My so-called minis are usually, at the shortest, 5 to 6 inches from my knees.

Yup the mini is from AnF and nah I can't afford it. I was considering getting a cheap denim long skirt, cut it to the length I want, destress it my own way and yea like you said, get some appliques for it.

But I am also lazy haha.

And if you are lucky I might just post pics of myself in minis on my blog. No point putting it up here when all we are discussing about is where to get them.
