What will happen if the managers in a company do whatever they like to do to their employees? These managers may be still working in that company without getting fired by whoever above them and those poor employees will be in deep trouble or quitting the job... but what will be the future of this company? This is not healthy at all for the future of the company...

How can an anchor simply move whatever post into whichever SIG they like? Do they have to ask the opinion of the SIG owner? OR, simply because they are the anchor? This is just one of the example. What is the problem with the Astrology and Astronomy to be placed together in one SIG? Do you have to say something harsh that may insult others or the owner of that SIG just because you are the anchor? You have no rights to say such things because you are not the owner of the SIG. Hummm... ReCom still not healthy enough.

This post may be edited or deleted before it was read by others... anyway, I feel tired seeing this.

I don't say that, all anchors are having such behavior but... sometimes the members are not treated fair or respected by the anchors. How can the members feel happy staying in Recom? Well, some of them will be happy but eventually they will be insulted.

Look at iQing... he is d-a-m-n good, he can provide a lot of valuable information for Recom, but now? I have joined Recom, left Recom, joined Recom again, left Recom again... I am so sick about this.

Recom is an e-space for people to get together, share knowledge and get to know each other. Recom is not a place to show Power, insult others and so on.

I don't think so this post will be digested effectively.

What happened here? Sorry am a bit busy for the past few days, so didn't really follow the threads in ReCom. It seemed to me that iQing posted something, and it got moved to a thread and people get angry?

I would be grateful if anyone here can enlighten me about this. Will try to help if I could.


p/s: By the way, while some anchors might make mistakes sometimes, we shouldn't generalize. If you do, it is not much different from how XiaXue paint an ugly picture of KL and its people in this blog article (http://xiaxue.blogspot.com/2005/08/kl-pretty-much-sucked.html).

you got to be nice and follow the rule as the forum belongs to everyone and blog belongs to you only.

Yeah, I agree that blog and forum are sometimes different in freedom or ways of expressing views.

However, I am just trying to say that generalizing in any way is always not good. It's just as good as saying "malays are all stupid", "chinese are all money-minded and materialistic", "girls are all unreasonable", "guys are all promicuous" etc. So be it written in a blog, in a forum, on a paper, in our heads, under the table etc, making generalization is not good. That was my point, instead of what to write in a blog or what not to write in a forum.

By the way, about the blog.. I agree that nobody has the right to stop us from writing our opinion in our blog, because it violates the freedom of speech. However, while I can't stop people from writing their opinion, I do have the right to think that making generalization is wrong. Or in XiaXue's case, she has the right to blast KL, but we also have the right to comment that what she said is biased. Freedom of speech works in both ways, not just the person waving the banner himself.

iQing, remember, Recom spelled as R-E-C-O-M, not i-Q-i-n-g. I can only make sure that I don't abuse my human rights but I can't limit others to overuse their rights or so-called administrator power.
