Hahaha.. i got band 5 with 248 marks, really unexpected because i thought that i did quite badly in writing. I think MUET is much more easier to score than the SPM english paper. Unfortunately, i have already paid RM 50 for the next muet test.... I am thinking to drop it.

They said u need at least Band 5 to apply for medicine, Band 4 for accounting etc. Actually, all these is rubbish because as long as u got Band 4, u can apply for any courses. ( u know la, some race their English is very lousy .....) So, STPM results will determined which course u are being offered.

So strange? In my school, we get to decide whether to resit AFTER the results come out. I got a band 6 so i'm not going to resit, obviously. I wonder how many ppl get band 6 this year? In my state, the number dropped compared to last year.

One question here. Let's say I got a band 5 at the first try and I wasn't statistfied with the results. I retook the exam, but i got a band 4 for it instead (touch wood! -.-...). Which mark will be considered when I apply for courses at the public university then? The earlier or the latter?

Oh, my God! Why you guys so "keng" one. All band 5, band 6 only. No wonder you guys dare to share your result here. How you guys master your command of English? Can share with us? I really admire you all.

Since you all are so "keng", why not help me to write my speech for the ESUM Public Speaking Competition? My writing is not so good, so I need some help from others to help me. Do you guys take part in that competition or not since your English is so wonderful!

Is it really i can apply any courses in University as long as i got band 4. I am quite afraid that i can't go into local uni. But some are saying that if you don't score well in your muet exam, you may have to take another english paper while you're in the local uni. Is that true? Can you all give some tips how to score well in muet exam or not? Especially writing and speaking. Thank a lot.
