How many of you have heard of Sudoku? It is available right now, in many newspapers worldwide, and is growing. Malaysia has just had its first national competition, and the 2nd national competition is going to be held on 20th Nov 2005.
Sudoku is a very mind-challenging number game. You can check out at http://www.sudoku.org for a free 28-day trial download of the game. To pre-warn, it is addictive.
For Malaysian sudoku, check out http://www.sudoku.com.my, and for its yahoogroups, the group name is sudoku_malaysia .
Enjoy!
Post your time here. For the one at sudoku.org, there are 3 categories, easy, medium and hard. So, try them out!
Good game.
Thanks for sharing.

I usually play sudoku at miniclip.com, since it has new puzzles everyday and it keeps track of my lowest time for all levels of difficulties. My lowest time is 4:30 for the hard puzzle.

Just curious, what's the format of the competition? And is there a link to it?

The website is http://www.sudoku.com.my . The format hasn't been completely finalized. It should be finalilzed by end of next week.
The last competition was over 3 puzzles: 1 easy, 1 medium, and 1 hard.
For this time, it would most likely be over 2 or 3 rounds. For 1st round, it would be most likely 2 or 3 puzzles. It is mainly for elimination. And there would be further rounds for those who qualify.
