What do you think is the answer to the ultimate question?
Why are we here? The koran tells us the purpose, does the bible, the bagwan gita and other holy books tell us the same. lets hear what you think>.

Everytime PJKRU post something, it bounds to end up in controversial... maybe that his ultimate purpose in life
Perhaps another lock up thread?

Okay, just joking only ya....

I think by putting aside religion, the ultimate purpose for us to be here is to MULTIPLY AND SET FORTH TO DESTROY THE EARTH. Hey, we kinda utlizing our resources to the maximum, it's just a matter of time before we use up all of our resources.

But I would be keen to know, what did the Koran say about the purpose of life.
And this goes forth for other religion. Hey, just post your views will do.

There is no purpose.

We just live because we are functioning.

We multiply because we are driven by our instincts.

That is all.

hmm...let's turn question into another more appropriate form...

what is your purpose of life?? most of us will have at least one right??

well, mine will be to make the world a better place to live in, by doing my little role in the society properly...ie, not causing trouble and helping others when they need it :)...

now, carry on :)

and please, spare pkjru from the constant bombs that we all keep throwing at him, not every topic that he started is bad you know ;)

The purpose of life lies in our heart.

Always ask ourselves what would we like to do in life ... and when we are finally doing something that we like, there is a purpose for us to continue to live on proactively .

and I only know how to talk , i understand to do this is kinda hard ...... :)

Pjkru,

i recommend this link:

http://users.aristotle.net/~diogenes/meaning1.htm

there are various versions for the meaning of life on this website. Whatever your reason is, have fun reading.

The Dalai Lama always stressed that the purpose of life is to seek happiness in whatever forms that may be.

Buddha also said that life should be lived to the fullest.

But eventually, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, Dalai Lama, Said Baba, all came to the realisation that life is an illusion.

Nothing is real.

The movie MATRIX tried to explain this, but most of us overlooked it.

If you truly want to know the truth of our existence, the question should not be "what is the purpose of life?".

The question should be what is the MEANING of life ? Click here (http://www.babaji.com) if you are so inclined.

the meaning of life lies within thyself, not in any other source...

find a suitable time and place, then sit down quietly and look inside yourself, and ask thyself, what is the meaning of life, and thy will find i, eventually..
