most of us tend to overlook little actions that we had done everyday..the fact is, it the those little actions that influences our life the most...

well, do yourself a little favour and post the little nice things that you had done here everyday...this in effect will make you more aware of your own actions and in the process be more mindful...

i'll start with myself then..
i've started this thread..hehe...

I climbed Mt Mitchell, the tallest mountain in North Carolina today to raise money for kids and women made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS in Tanzania today.

To support my climb, please go to www.aidsclimb.org to learn how to donate.

Your contribution, no matter how small, can be your good deed for the day!

Currently I'm a teacher, primary school teacher. The position offered in Flextronics is Program Officer. Yea, I have a friend works in there. She also told me that one could learn a lot there. Being a teacher is simpler, though deal with kids is a great knowledge, much to learn also. I can see myself improving from last year till now, in terms of handling the kids, who don't pass up homework, who are noisy, etc.
Hopefully with this new job can be another eye-opener for me and provide me another path to a better self!

Well, that's really magnanimous of you. Mmm, that really takes one's courage and the determination to hold no more grudge on him/her. I bet she/he really has changed a lot that make you patched up with her/him. Still, better having a friend than an enemy...

Three years of no posts, time to revive it. With all the feel angry posts all over ReCom over failure to secure a scholarship (I still think scholarships are overrated), what better way to alleviate the sadness by counting our own blessings?

Here are the good things I have done today:
1. revamped the scholarship portal for ReCom wiki
2. completed programming code for my project (after months of efforts, and tireless eyes reading lines of codes that only a code wizard can understand)
3. slept early :P

A prayer brings out the wishes of the heart...

That is the power of prayers

Jesus loved everybody -- not only the people who were like Him or who followed His personal beliefs. We are called to love everybody the same way: no matter what race, no matter what religion.

He has love us by giving us life, a home, friends, clothing, food ect.. We can imitate his love by giving the poor clothing, homes, food ect.. He also said not to have ill will toward your enemy. This is hard I know. But you should pray for your enemy and help him as well if he is having problems. That will surely make your days!

there was one man coming to my house just now, wanting us to donate money to help the DS people. He shows me the photo and the the related documents to verify that they were really the real charity org wanting to raise the fund .

I have donated 20 bucks to them.:P
feeling happy as have done a good deed ..

PS: hv you often find people coming to ur house and asking for donation?
do u ever feel like they r cheating?hpw to verify that they are not the cheating culprit?

actually i prefer to donate at temple or churches than to donate to the one coming to my house .
