Are you doing occupational therapy? have you graduated? Mind to share a little about it?
When i was attached to a hospital last year i've visited a centre. It seemed to be a difficult job to do as one would really need to have the sense of emphaty towards the patient.

ya, i am taking occupational therapy (OT)but not yet graduate since this is a new course in Malaysia.
ya, i agree that Occupational Therapist need to have the sense of emphaty towards the patients but also patient's family or friends. It is a treatment that focuses on helping people achieve independence in all areas of their lives. We have to get close to the people around the patient because they also helping the patient along the treatment.
Some people may think that occupational therapy is only for adults; children, after all, do not have occupations. But a child's main job is playing and learning.
In addition to dealing with an individual's physical well-being, occupational therapy practitioners address psychological, social, and environmental factors that may hinder an individual's functioning in different ways. This unique approach makes occupational therapy a vital part of health care.
Anyway there has some different between local OT with oversea OT but i still not clear about this, will find it out later.
