Alternative Medicine

Hi Recommers.
I am pretty interested in alternative medicine,namely homeopathy,medical acupuncture,chiropractic,aromatherapy,naturopathic medicine,osteopathy,apitherapy,nutrition,hydrotherapy,reflexologyand etc but my cognizance of them is rather vague.So I hope that Recommers that are involved in the field of alternative medicine can share their views here.Thank you. :)

Hi, i don't know much about alternative medicine, but i do believe in some of them.

Acupunture for instance had been proved to be effective based on randomised control trials, search MedLine for more information. However, they still don't understand the mechanisms behind it!

I think one of the universities in UK offers acupuncture, check out the brochures.

I notice using brainwave entrainment can reduce some of the ailment like headache , PMS and stress. It even promotes muscle growth.
