Another Real Madrid on the way ... I don't think Real Madrid is good club in UEFA cause they have 1 goal in match when they vs Bayern Munich. If they good they will score more than 1. If free lick Beckham and Roberto Carlos is the best but they does't have good defender they must find a good defender to make a good team in UEFA and will be a Champion. Something to correct. Real Madrid is playing in UEFA Champion League, which is a different competition from UEFA Cup although it's organised by UEFA (European Football Association). When people say UEFA, it is usually refer to UEFA Cup whereas Champion League is always refer to UEFA Champion League (It was called European Champion League). Hope i don't make you confuse.

Regarding Real Madrid, i agree with you that they definately need a few world class center defender to play better. But Spanish team is famous of attacking football, and i think that's the reason they are emphasize on buying attacking players and use defender that was trained under their youth developement programme. Do not forget the departure of Claude Makelele cause Real Madrid lost a hardworking defensive midfielder.

Real Madrid is definately a great team. They are almost perfect in their attacking forces. Their goal keeper(Iker Casillas) is one of the best in the world too although he is only in his early 20s.

Football is round and you can't expect Real Madrid trash their openents in every single game. A draw in playing away with Bayern Munich is a decent results as Bayern Munich is one of the best team in the world as well. Have you ever watch Bayern play before? They are a world class team.

Deco? I Don't think Abramovich will settle for anything less than a world class talent this summer. Don't get me wrong, I've seen Porto play and Deco is a talented fella, but Abramovich wants big names to go with his money. Ronaldo will be a good option for him, since he's got the fame and talent Abramovich wants, while Ronaldo, as usual, will get a chance to jump the sinking ship (remember what he did to Inter?).

As for Real Madrid, they really need to get a top class defender. Walter Samuel (ironically also linked with Chelsea) will be a good bet. Then again there's some rumours that Totti will be heading for the Bernabeu this summer. Seems to me Real's chairman hasn't learnt his lesson yet. And just to wrap things up, both these two teams, Chelsea and Real Madrid, will prolly be getting new managers too. Seems managers and buying their way to success are two things these two clubs share in common...

The quality is still there...just ageing. MU seriously need to buy this time. Their youngsters from the academy (Fletcher, Pugh, Richardson, etc.) are just not up to the Scholes, Giggs, Beckham, etc standard. And I don't know why Ferguson persists in playing Fletcher. What does he see in thad lad that I don't anyway?
