anyway, im just asking for a friend; are there any scholarships for dance courses overseas?

never heard of any and what type of dance are we talking about?

In my opinion, if there ever was to be a scholarship for dancers, its would be for an outstanding already established dancer who dances some unique dance that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world and had generated enough curiosity for a sponsorship to import the dance to another country or school.

I haven't exactly heard of a dance scholarship but the closest thing I've heard of is this one offered by Jitterbugs Singapore:

But I don't think it exactly offers a recognised degree or something.

I am sure if you friend can work hard enough on his/her search, he/she will be able to find some form of financial support! It's great that he/she is going the way of his/her passion!
