Nothing to do with skate. This is all stagnant objects.
By me (amateur). Any comments?

What camera are you using?
I usually blur the background for close up's though.

Yeah thanks. I'm using Olympus [mju:] 300 Digital. I'm still having problem getting a good picture on moving objects (blurred usually).. but it is a nice outcome for those to not-moving object. :P

Try higher ISO settings for moving objects.

Higher ISO will make the picture more grainy though..
Using a faster shutter speed might help although i'm not sure whether you can control shutter speed for Olympus [mju:] 300.

Yea, sad to say, the ISO setting for Olympus [mju:] 300 is automatic. Can't change it manually. Maybe I have to change the other settings to get a better one. Well, I'll try...
