Microsoft Visual Studio for Pocket PC Development is surprisingly intriguingly puzzlingly FREE ... I've installed it on my PC but somehow it refuses to compile my codes ... "no compatible device found", it says, eventhough I have my PPC activeSynched ... weird ...

Well you can use de PPC emulator instead of ur physical device. It should come with the SDK.
