Career - Film Director

hi, is there anyone have idea on how to pursue ur dream to be a film director. which uni and course is the best place for that, and most of all, any scholarships available for this area, local or foreign?thx for the help given and i will appreciate it very much. thx :)

man i really dont know anything about this, but you may wanna check out LUCT (Limkokwing) or Multimedia University (MMU)? try for the Astro scholarship, though i think the deadline is already over.

wow, u have exactly the same ambition with me. I always want to a film director too..

thx, ftk. i have juz finished reading the thread. really very helpful for me. well then, may i ask u one question? ----wat's ur choice now, in pursuing ur dream as a film director? coz i have totally no idea about the ways to go to that path. wish my dream come true.

ftk, it's great to know that u r interested in this field too coz i have no friends with interest to be film director. may be we would have the chance of collaborating in making an Oscar award-winning film in future. .hah:) thx so much....

i gonna do what those seniors told, try hard for US unis and do double major. engineering and cinema class. after graduate, i gonna try to be assistant director for any respectable director, my fav Yasmin Ahmad or U-Wei Hj Shaari.

ohh...tat's great, ftk. i have also just enter a script writing contest for Daniel lee'MV two months ago coz the winner will stand a chance to be an assistant director for the mv. hope 2 get some exposure & experience in tis field but the result is still unknown. nervous...nervous.....
