I don't think its javascript tutorial is suitable for a beginner as you need to bear some times to understand it thoroughly. Anyway this site is good for learning of HTML/CSS.

Learn HTML and CSS first... then jump into Sever Side Scripting.. you could probably go for Ruby on Rails or Python Django.. both very popular nowadays.. although most co. in msia are looking for PHP or ASP.net programmers
