When should I apply Job?

Hello, Sorry to disturb you here, I am newbie here.

Currently, I am doing my Master by research in a local university. I am at my last stage of thesis writing where I should be able to submit it in November or December 2006. I am confused of when should I start applying for job? (forgive me as I have never apply job before)

I am aiming for the lecturer post in local university or engineering jobs. I am confused, normally when you guys started to apply job? How many months before you graduate?

Appreciate any opinion, please. Thanks.

for engineering jobs you can apply now actually or later around jan/feb, basically anytime since most engineering jobs do not have a specific graduate recruitment program.

it's never to early to find a job. I would say atleast go for 5 interviews and then get serious.

So list down 10 - 15 companies you want to work for and make the first 5 the least you want to go to.

Train yourself, familirize with the style of job interviews.
