oh i thought it was some xbox modchip or something heh. you know ms patches the "bug" that allows ppl to install linux on xbox through xbox live? sneaky

I;ve actually heard of that linux patch thingy. The thing is why would anyone do that? I thought people use linux to revolt against M$ so it's kinda like going back to the devil

at $170 the xbox is a very cheap linux workstation.

Yeah, cheap, plus, you can play games too.

I read that a guy called andrew "bunny" huang already hacked the XBox.
He wrote a book but the publisher refused to print it last minute.

have you guys heard about PS2 workstation??

Stanford University has gathered about hundreds of playstation 2 to be workstation...

hehe.. even PS2 can also run Linux.. hehe

the linux kit for PS2 cost about 100 bucks

ps2s as a linux workstation is a bit expensive isnt it? about the same price as a normal pc when you add in the hd and the network adapter. nothing can beat the xbox as a linux workstation
