Apparently, not every student are lucky enough to solely depend on a scholarship. For those who are seeking for another alternative, loan service could be your last resource. However, the information on the net is just not enough. In conjunction of finding loan for myself, I am trying to compile a list of loan available for the other members too. I hope this thread won't be another redundant thread just becuase another member has already done it. I'm hoping someone to contribute any information regarding loan services in Malaysia mainly for SPM graduates, your sharing will be more than appreciated!

for people who have parents that are retired can you still get the loan? or if there parents are unemployed? Is there a limit to how many mara loans you can get per year. How much can you get maximum per year for tuititon fees. You see im working in the uk now and i'd like to bring my cousin over to study here but i would like them to take out a mara loan against my salary. Is that possible?

caramel_nut: Thank you for the feedback caramel_nut, though I have already seen that.
PJKru: As much as I heard from people, they could cover the whole tuition fees. But if you are intending to take loan for overseas study, JPA will be more common in that sense. The best way for inquiry is contact them via phone, please share some info if you do.

I don't think it's impossible if you have an eligible cosigner. Try JPA, but you will have to finish 1 semester in the Uni first before so.
is PTPTN enough to support my study in University Teknologi Petronas??

MARA would be much better..
you wouldn't want to work at the government hospitals for about 10 years, would you?
JPA bonded their students for at least 6 years..
MARA will never bond theirs..
think about it..

I got student loans while attending school, I graduated in May, so coming December I will start paying, one problem I moved to another state, I lost the paperwork and I forgot who my private student loaner where, I need to check how much I borrowed so I can start saving money. Is there a website that can list the loans that I have received, I tried my university but they only list the loans I have gotten through financial aid? Help please.
Hmm is this the board for loan discussions?
Is it just me or there's no yuran pinjaman borang on the website?
Can someone try it out please?
If it's there, that means I need to start re-attending BM classes.

We are wondering if there are any government grants available for treatment for children. We have a 6 years old Autistic son and his therapy is costing my husband and me $650 a week. We really can't afford this. We just wondering if anyone knew of any grants that could help absorb some of the costs. We have already applied for and he doesn't qualify because of our income. Does anyone have any information that helps us to qualify and get grants?
Hey.. If we do score well and excel during our studies.. which loan will be deducted? i noe ptptn will increase rite..but if we take mara loan and excel..we can pay less base on our results..can we?

It's now the past days when people being unemployed used to suffer the financial downturns as there were no any fiscal aids available at that period but now the story has been changed. Today every individual seeking monetary support in order to fulfill their monetary requirement can avail the benefit of loans for unemployed people (http://www.loansfortheunemployedpeople.org.uk) as it offer loans for various purpose according to the need of the people. Loans for unemployed people also offers education loans for student requiring financial help to brighten their carrier.
