IMU Medical/Pharmacy/Nursing Scholarships

For those of you who intend to further education in Medical, Pharmacy or Nursing course, IMU is offering a number of scholarships.

There are 4 categories of scholarships:-

1. The IMU Medical Scholarship
Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for the entire duration of the 5-year undergraduate medical course at the IMU, valued at RM333,000.

Two (2) students to pursue the undergraduate medical course in Malaysia leading to the MBBS (IMU).

APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: 15 JUNE 2007

2. The IMU - University of Strathclyde Pharmacy (MPharm) Scholarship

Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for the entire duration of the 3 ?-year undergraduate MPharm course at the IMU and the University of Strathclyde, valued at more than RM175,000.

Two (2) students to pursue the entire eight (8) semesters of the twinned undergraduate pharmacy course leading to the MPharm (Hons) degree (in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde).

APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: 15 JUNE 2007

3. The IMU Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) Scholarship

Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for the entire duration of the 4-year undergraduate BPharm course at the IMU, valued at RM124,800.

One (1) student to pursue the Bachelor of Pharmacy programme to be conducted wholly in IMU, leading to the BPharm (Hons).

APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: 12 MAY 2007

4. The IMU Bachelor of Nursing Scholarship

Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for the entire duration of the 4-year undergraduate BNursing course at the IMU valued at RM72,000.

Two (2) students to pursue the Bachelor of Nursing degree leading to the BNursing (Hons).

Some UK university will give partial scholarship(about 1000 to 2000 pounds per year or one-time off). In my year, cardiff and bath have scholarship for pharmacy.
Cambridge has partial scholarship for medicine. One of my friend get oe which covered her for first 3 years. The last 3 years are covered by JPA.

As for the IMU medical scholarship, are SPM 2006 leavers eligible to apply?
