APPLICATION FOR SIJIL SOKONGAN LUAR NEGARA

Heya.. we need to apply for a Sijil Sokongan Luar Negara before we persue any studies overseas right?

Does anyone know what are the steps needed to apply for that Sijil? Apply online? Download the form and post it?

If post, post to which address?

Hmmm... I applied for many universities overseas in the past but I have never heard of such thing.

Hey man,

I thought that was just for medicine. I didn't know that it applied to all courses. I think you need to find that out from the higher education ministry.

Try calling them. Make sure it is no where near lunch time. :lol:

Try searching for the ministry online too. They might have it online.

Yea, sorry, sorry I failed to specify.. I meant for medicine and dentistry. Other professional courses like law dont require it?
Anyway, thanks for the lunch tip! We all know long 'lunch breaks' can be sometimes.. heheheh! Anyway if anyone has further information, feel free to post it here for all..

Notice that the form provided is the 2006 version. Hopefully they'll post the new one soon. Or else have to get it from their office... :?

But usually how many weeks is needed for the processing of SSLN application? Hope any seniors can advise :)
