Just out of curiousity, people. Are there any Star Trek fans in here? Doesn't matter which series (Voyager, TNG, DS9, etc.) or movie (Star Trek I to X) you're into, I just wanna know if anyone's interested in it. Its pretty hard to find trekkies here in Malaysia...

hehe, i love star trex, the generation series of course.

My brother is even a bigger fan. I think he actually mesmerized the whole dialogue of the Star trex generation.

Yo USS defiant!
u got urself a trekkie here!

but i'm not really a trekkie, even though i consider myself one..

i love star trek because of it vision.. a world without currency, where ppl just work to better themselves...

and of course, wat's science fiction without the technology.. the matter/anti-matter warp engines are darn cool ....

wat's ur favourite USS ship?
defiant? mine's voyager.. hehe.. :)

Yes...I knew them Star Wars fans will never exterminate us all!

My favorite ship used to be the Voyager. That was till I saw DS9, and everything changed. Those pulse phasers and Quantum torpedoes really took my breath away...

In a way, I've noticed one unique attribute when it comes to sci-fi in Malaysia: There is no such thing as a clear cut division in Star Trek and Star Wars... For that matter, between ST, SW, Babylon V, etc...

Anyway, there's a Malaysian Sci Fi Discussion Group if you guys are interested in discussing the latest in Sci-Fi. They usually discuss the upcoming movies, current episodes, and other stuff... Quite a wide variety of topics. Also talks about the movie marathons for ST, or sci-fi sales and fairs. Small group for now, but quite closely linked to da neighbours across the straits... Site is at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/myscififan/
